MADRID, Sept. 18 (Xinhua) -- With a full midweek program of matches in Spain's Primera Liga next week, several games from match day three have been brought forward to Saturday night.
League leader FC Barcelona entertains Atletico Madrid in the Camp Nou Stadium in the weekend's standout fixture.
Last season saw Barca crush Atletico 6-1 in the same fixture and the reigning League champions have kicked off this season as they ended the last one.
Pep Guardiola's side has hit form straight away and has two wins from two games, as well as a creditable 0-0 draw away to Inter Milan in the Champions League.
Things are different for Atletico, however, Abel Resino's men have only one point in the league and amid an atmosphere of internal strife, could only draw 0-0 against Cypriot side AOPEL in Europe.
Barcelona is at full strength and the big question is whether fit again Andres Iniesta will be given his first start of the new campaign.
Saturday also sees Sevilla travel to Pamplona for what is always a hard fought match against Osasuna. Sevilla coach Manuel Jimenez is likely to rest either Freddy Kanoute or in form Luis Fabiano and start with Alvaro Negredo leading the attack.
Osasuna meanwhile has defender Nacho Monreal and midfielder Jamed Nekounan suspended after they were harshly sent off in Tenerife last weekend.
Elsewhere on Saturday, Deportivo la Coruna plays at home to Espanyol. Espanyol travels to Galicia looking for its first point of the season following defeat away to Athletic Club Bilbao and a 3-0 thrashing at home to Real Madrid last Saturday.
Midfielder Ivan de la Pena is injured for Espanyol, but recent arrival Shunsuke Nakamura should be able to play after shaking off knee problems.
Deportivo meanwhile aims to build on last weekend's win against Malaga, but coach Miguel Angel Lotina will be looking for strikers Riki and Rodolfo Bodipo to be more effective in front of goal.
Saturday also sees Mallorca face Tenerife. Among the favorites for relegation this season, Mallorca has had a bright start to the campaign, beating Xerez and drawing 1-1 away to fancied Villarreal.
Hopes for the home side will be placed in striker Aritz Aduriz and midfielder Borja Valero, who has returned to the club on loan.
