AFA website under hacker attack, Maradona mocked

BUENOS AIRES, Sept. 11 (Xinhua) -- The website of the Argentine Soccer Association (AFA) on Friday was under a hacker attack, in which a picture of Argentina coach Diego Maradona wearing a T-shirt of Brazil was published.

"One image worth thousands words," said the image published by the self named KKR hacker, who used the publicity of a Brazilian drink that Maradona did in 2006, and for which he was paid 150,000 U.S. dollars.

Maradona was blamed for the defeats his team had suffered in the South American qualifiers for the World Cup South Africa 2010.

In Maradona's rein, Argentina crushed Venezuela 4-0, lost to Bolivia 6-1, edged Colombia 1-0, humiliated by Ecuador 2-0 and by Brazil 3-1, and lost to Paraguay 1-0.

Brazil with 33 points and Paraguay with 30 have already got the tickets for the World Cup finals, while the remaining tickets is being fought by Chile with 27 points, Ecuador with 23, Argentina with 22, Uruguay with 21, Venezuela also 21 and Colombia with 20.
